COVID-19 UPDATE We are happy to announce that we are once again accepting food donations! Please ensure that the best before date is valid for any food donated -- we cannot accept food that is past the best before date.
Masks are now optional inside the foodbank, however you will be asked to wear a mask if you are presenting covid-19 symptoms as a precaution to keep our volunteers and other foodbank users safe. Please be respectful of each individual's choice to wear or not wear a mask.
Want to give back? Need volunteer hours? We're looking for help!
I want to acknowledge a great Volunteer Work Team, led by Liz Clark from TD Bank.
Last night Liz and her Team, Heidi Jensen, Abby Pulvermacher, Brooke Talbot, Alison De Penotiere, packed 100 Hamper Boxes.
They also ensured the shelves were restocked for the next day. These great Ladies did this work in 32 degrees of heat, in the building. They did this service after their regular work day.
We are blessed in our Community to have this type of support for helping those less fortunate in our City.
Sincerest Thanks from the Board of Elliot Lake Emergency Food Bank.
