The date signifies the point at which the food is no longer at its best quality.
The date applies to the product in its original, sealed packaging.
You don't need to throw out food just because it's past its "best before" date, drop it off and we will follow the Health Canada Guidelines as to how long it can be safely used.
Items we do not accept include dairy/meats/opened product/items from an infested stored area. We also accept hygiene products like dish detergent/laundry detergent/hair Shampoo/deodorant/hygiene pads/toothbrush and toothpaste/Kleenex tissue and toilet paper. ALWAYS NEED: Children snacks/juices/health bars etc. BUT they must be PEANUT FREE Thank you!

RE THE CANADA POSTAL STRIKE If you usually mail in your monthly donation to us please call 705 461-3663 - leave a message and we will arrange to pick it up from you. Tax receipts will be hand delivered if the strike continues into 2026. If you want your tax receipt immediately use the options noting "auto tax receipt."
